Dovetail is a mobile and desktop app, designed for global collaborators, to assist in scheduling meetings between timezones. The solution aims to reduce the time it takes to set up and reschedule meetings by increasing transparency of everyone’s availability. The name Dovetail comes from the woodworking joint technique in which two pieces of wood are joined together by interlocking trapezoidal-shaped cuts. In a metaphorical sense, Dovetail effortlessly harmonizes time zones for its users.

Collaborators in different timezones loose time waiting for workday hours to overlap, increasing the time it takes to set up meetings and sign off on project deliverables.

O U T C O M E

We believe that creating a timezone meeting scheduler for global collaborators will result in more seamless workflows between timezones.

M E T R I C

We'll know we’ve succeeded when we see a decrease in timezone related meeting and project delays between teams using Dovetail versus teams without it.
